According to data from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Italy is among the top 10 best-performing growth markets in 2024, with visitor numbers reaching 155% compared to 2023. The elimination of the need to transit through a third country will enhance the experience and also create motivation for a significant increase in the number of visitors from Italy to Vietnam in the coming years.

The inauguration ceremony at Milan Malpensa Airport took place solemnly with the presence of Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, representatives of the Lombardy regional government, and airport leaders.
