Vietnamese baguette (Banh Mi) was ranked the most delicious in the world by CNN
The American media channel CNN recently released a list of the 25 best sandwiches in the world, with Vietnamese bánh mì ranking in second place, affirming the special appeal of this famous street food.

According to CNN, sandwiches are simple and humble foods, yet they are widely loved around the world. Each country has its own unique twists, creating a diverse picture of global culinary culture. Among them, Vietnamese sandwiches are considered one of the most unique and successful versions. Exploring the specialty sandwiches of each place is like taking a journey around the world.
Ranked second on CNN’s list, Vietnamese bánh mì stands out as a representative of Asian and global street food. Introduced to Vietnam by the French in the 19th century, bánh mì has over time been adapted into many styles reflecting Vietnamese characteristics, with a variety of fillings customized to individual tastes and regional preferences. Today, bánh mì has become a staple food, deeply reflecting the culinary culture of the Vietnamese people.
