Da Nang organizes a week of gratitude for South Korean tourists.
On the evening of August 1, the East Sea Park in Da Nang City organized the opening of the Vietnam – South Korea Festival 2025. This is the inaugural event for the ‘Korean Tourist Appreciation Week in Da Nang 2025’ from August 1 to August 8, 2025.
This special event, organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the city, aims not only to enhance the promotion of the destination but also to express deep gratitude to South Korean tourists – a key market that has significantly contributed to the development of tourism in Da Nang. This is part of the national tourism stimulus program ‘Vietnam – Go to Love’ by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and is in accordance with the direction of the Da Nang City People’s Committee on local tourism development.

The highlight of the opening ceremony is the welcome ceremony for the 1 millionth South Korean visitor to Da Nang in 2025, where the lucky tourists with ticket numbers 999,999 and 1,000,001, along with seven other special guests, will receive valuable gifts such as plane tickets, experience tours, and unique souvenirs.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang City, South Korea has always been one of the key international markets, contributing a significant proportion to the international tourist structure of the city. Through a series of special activities during the “Thank You” Week for Korean Tourists 2025′, Da Nang hopes to not only continue to affirm its position as a top destination favored by Korean tourists but also to enhance its attraction to international visitors in general, contributing to achieving the tourism growth targets in 2025.This event also serves as a strong commitment from the city to continuously improve the quality of products and services and maintain sustainable partnerships with Korean tourism partners in the future. Da Nang promises to always be a safe, friendly, and attractive destination, welcoming travelers from all directions to explore and experience.
