Phu Quoc Pearl Island (An Giang province) has just been honored by the online travel platform Expedia in the list of the 10 most outstanding islands in the world in 2026, making it an ideal destination for luxury vacations at competitive prices.

Expedia’s list reflects the trend of travelers increasingly looking for new islands alongside popular destinations. Based on flight search data, this list highlights 10 islands that are seeing strong growth in traveler interest, from romantic getaways to peaceful islands in Europe and Asia.
Ranking 9th on the list, Phu Quoc (An Giang province) is considered an ideal destination for travelers looking to enjoy a luxurious vacation at a reasonable cost. According to Expedia, the Pearl Island is quickly becoming one of Southeast Asia’s top luxury resort hubs, with high-quality resorts, increasingly perfect services, and competitive prices.
Phu Quoc, the paradise of the sea, is famous for its white sandy beaches, clear emerald waters, diverse marine ecosystems, and mild climate all year round.
