Outstanding travel information for September 2025: The Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025 honored 113 exemplary businesses and units
On October 7, the Tourism Information Center (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism) launched the Tourism Information document for September 2025, featuring market analysis of international tourists, notable activities in September, media and tourism promotion activities, and tourism digital transformation…
In particular, the highlight event in September was the Announcement and Award Ceremony of the Vietnam Tourism Awards 2025, organized by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in collaboration with Van Hoa Newspaper – the most prestigious and important award in Vietnam’s tourism industry. At the event, 113 exemplary businesses and units were honored in 11 award categories for their positive contributions to the development of Vietnam’s tourism sector. Regarding visitor numbers, the total number of international visitors in the first nine months of 2025 reached over 15.4 million, an increase of 21.5% compared to the same period in 2024, with September 2025 alone reaching 1.52 million, up 19.5%. Major markets recorded good growth, including China and South Korea, which contributed nearly half of the total international visitors to Vietnam. In addition, Russia continued to maintain its position as the largest market in Europe.
Notably, the Indian market recorded remarkable growth, rising to the 6th position among the top 10 markets for Vietnamese tourism, clearly reflecting the effectiveness of the series of promotional and marketing activities in India carried out by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, localities, and businesses in recent times. European markets continued to grow strongly thanks to visa exemption policies and a series of promotional activities.
In addition to analyzing tourism growth results, the document also provides updated information on a variety of promotional activities, digital communications, tourism licensing, and details about upcoming notable events…
